Quiz Night

Saturday 29th November at Aigburth Cricket and Bowling Club, Southwood Road, L17 7BQ (our rehearsal venue). Doors open at 7pm, quiz starts at 8pm, always a great night! Alex Cleator is our quizmaster extraordinaire!

£5 on the door, children under 14 free.

We are looking for back row cornets. If you enjoy making music and want to be part of a friendly, supportive and ambitious brass band we would love to hear from you.

National Finals 2025!

Following our 3rd place result at the Northwest Area competition in February the band were delighted to qualify to represent the Northwest at the 2nd Section Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

The band was proud to place 10th on the day after weeks of hard work rehearsing a challenging piece.

A huge well done to the players and our assistant musical director Dave McGlynn and a massive thank you to everyone who supports the band behind the scenes. Onward and upward!

Northwest Area Championships 2025!

We are extremely proud to be awarded with 3rd place in the Second Section of the Northwest Area Championship in February. A huge congratulations to our Assistant Musical Director Dave McGlynn and all of the band who were involved in this fantastic result.

We are delighted to have qualified for the National Finals in September!

Entertainment Contest Results!

Liverpool Brass Band took part in their first ever Entertainment Contest on Sunday 29th September as part of the Red Admiral Music Academy Entertainment Contest.

We were delighted to be awarded 3rd place as well as gaining best cornets and best percussion on the day in the second section. A very successful day for the band. Thank you to the organisers, who did a fantastic job on the day!

One year of Liverpool Brass Band!

Well it’s one year since the band changed our name and what a year it has been! Happy Anniversary Liverpool Brass Band.
